What a great first week back we have had this week. We are all looking forward to some of the great activities and learning experiences that are planned for Term Three.
It has been great this week to see students in F-2 begin their immersions on Celebrating Diversity and students in 3-6 begin their immersions in Space Science. We are looking forward to seeing some great learning as students work their way through their inquiries. Term 3 is the term for camps at Pender's! Later this term we have our Grade 2 sleepover at school, our Grade 3/4 3 day camp to Doxa and our Grade 5/6 3 day camp to Wombat corner. Let's hope the weather is warmer for those activities than it has been this week! We are also really looking forward to our annual celebration for NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Pender's Grove NAIDOC Week activities will be held between July 27 - 31.
