This Saturday is a public holiday for ANZAC Day. It is an important day for us all to remember and there has been a range of activities across the school this week where this has been discussed.
It was great to watch our Multiage class so engaged in the cooking of ANZAC biscuits on Wednesday in the staffroom in addition to the wonderful smell that filled the corridors! We have ANZAC badges on sale in the office if you wish to purchase one or make a donation to Legacy. We hope everyone has had a great holiday and is feeling refreshed and ready for another great term of learning at Pender's Grove.
A reminder that there is no whole school assembly on Monday April 13th (the first day back). Our first assembly for the term will be on Monday April 20th. School starts for Term Two on Monday April 13th at 9am. |
