Following advice from the Victorian Government on Tuesday 12 May, some students will be returning to school from Tuesday 26 May.
The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised that it is safe for Victorian school students and teachers to return to on-site schooling in a two-staged approach: * Stage 1 – from Tuesday 26 May Early years students (Prep to Grade 2) and senior secondary students (Year 11 and 12) undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), and all specialist school students will return to on-site schooling. All staff will attend on-site. * Stage 2 - from Tuesday 9 June Grade 3 to Year 10 students will return to on-site schooling, subject to health advice. The Department’s latest advice on can be found at www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus Please see below for some specific advice regarding our school: *A-K surname students school day 8.50 - 3.15 and L-Z surname students 9.05 - 3.30. Please do not drop students off/arrive at school more than 10mins before the allocated start time. *All students must bring a refillable drink bottle (no glass please). Outdoor taps cannot be directly used for drinking. *Parents/carers must drop students at the gate and cannot come into the playground unless needing to go to the office via the front gate. Please talk to your child about which gate you will meet them at (the gate nearest the crossing will not be in use to avoid congestion). *Parents may enter the school yard to drop off/pickup students at OSHC before 8.45/after 3.45. Please note that next week (W/E 15/05) we will be activating passwords on our Remote Learning Pages. Teachers will notify their students of the password and the date it will be activated during class daily emails/Webex meetings early in the week. Please contact the school if you need help with the password for your child's page.
