Additional Music Programs

At Pender's we have a thriving instrumental program with highly skilled instrumental teachers giving private lessons on recorder, piano, guitar, violin, ukulele and keyboard during the school day.  Every year our instrumental students have the opportunity to perform altogether at our Musical Soiree at the end of the year.

Last year we began, in collaboration with Thornbury high School, to offer trumpet and saxophone lessons to some of our Grade 5/6 students. We also have a school choir as well as a Percussion Ensemble that rehearse every week and perform regularly at Assembly and local events.
