Enrolment Eligibility
To be eligible for enrolment your child must turn five by 30 April in the year they are due to commence. A copy of your child’s birth certificate and their immunisation certificate are required when enrolling. Immunisation certificates can be obtained by phoning 1800 653 809 or through a Medicare branch.
Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

School Tours for Foundation 2025
To book a tour please contact the school on 03 9484 1076 or via email (link below) to arrange a discussion with our Principal where our school programs will be explained and questions can be answered. These conversations can be arranged for various times across the week or can be via video conference. Applications for enrolment will be accepted from the start of Term 2 (see below for more information).
Tours are conducted individually and the following times will generally available each week (from late February).

2025 Transition Program & weekly Storytime
Please note that our 2025 Foundation Transition program for enrolled students begins in October. Students are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible until it finishes in late Term 4.
Please note that we also have a weekly Storytime sessions for any pre-Foundation children with our school librarian on Wednesdays during the school term from 9.10-9.40am. Please let us know if you would like to attend with your child(ren).
Process for 2025 Foundation (Prep) enrolments
The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Pender's Grove. All government primary schools will follow the timeline to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2025 school year.
Enrolment forms are available during your school tour or at the top of this page. Please note that submitted forms must be confirmed by the school before an enrolment is finalised.
What you need to do:
1. Contact our school to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process
2. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack
3. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by 26 July 2024
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application in the week starting 29 July. If you receive an offer of placement, you should contact our school to accept the offer by 23 August 2024
5. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4 2024.
6. Your child will start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 30 January 2025.
Enrolment applications submitted after the late July enrolment date will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
