Buddies program
Students participate in a fortnightly session working collaboratively with their buddy on a range of curriculum tasks and team building activities aiming to build relationships between our younger and older students.

Students are paired with a buddy within the following levels:
  • Foundation and Year 6 students
  • Year 1/2 and Year 4 students
  • Year 3 and Year 5 students

Grade 6 buddies meet their Foundation buddies at the end of the prior year (as Year 5 students) when their buddies are attending the Foundation transition program so that they have an established relationship when school begins the following year.



House Team Program
Pender's Grove runs a House Team program to further encourage team work and cooperation with different people in our school.  We have six house teams (red, green, blue, yellow, purple, orange) and all students and staff in the school are in a house.  We are using the teams for cross age activities, family events and awards.
