I was very proud last week to be able to represent Pender's Grove PS on a visit to our prospective sister school, Doan Thi Diem School in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The school has around 3000 students in over 80 classes at their main campus and it was fantastic to see the students and teachers learning and teaching in a number of visits both there and to the school's other campuses during the week. The school's Principal, Mrs. Hien and her Assistant Principals were fantastic hosts and made sure that I saw not only saw lots of the school but also experienced a range of cultural activities during our time there. Students and staff from the school will be visiting Melbourne during this June and I am looking forward to catching up with them then. I am also hoping we will be able to host students from the school at Pender's Grove during 2018. See below for some images from the visit. Douglas
