International Safer Internet Day will be held this Tuesday 5th February. Its stated aim is to ensure ‘online rights and responsibilities will be used to promote positive digital citizenship across Australian communities'. 2013 is the 10th anniversary of Safer Internet Day. Coordinated by Insafe, the European network for internet safety, the event is supported in Australia by Cybersmart. Pender's Grove will mark the day when all students from Years 3-6 will join with 450 school from across Victoria in a Statewide online conference between 10.00am and 11.00am. It will be exploring the responsibilities that come hand in hand with being a digital citizen.
