Today students in the Years 3 and 4 classes continued to share their expert knowledge on the eight multiple intelligences. Each student was involved actively as they either presented their own expert knowledge of the intelligence they had explored or listened and noted the learning of others. Students completed a giant jigsaw demonstrating their understanding and research. One of the strengths of the learning was the way in which groups collaborated in order for every student to achieve. Students were heard encouraging each other and organising their sharing so every student participated. Here's what was heard in the group ... "Do you need more time to think?" "What are some other things?" "This is how you do it ..." "Are we finished?" "What's next?" In evaluating the sessions the students said ... "I think the jigsaw was really good because we all cooperated." Seb "The best part was learning stuff about the eight intelligences." Joseph "We got to hear what everyone learned in their expert groups." Jake "We learned things that we didn't know before." Vihanga "It was good that we helped each other to keep up with their learning." Kaiyan "I liked it because we all got together and know things we didn't know before." Walid Everyone agreed that they enjoyed learning from each other during the exercise.
