The students and staff have had a terrific time participating in this week's Indigenous dance workshops. Our thanks to Matt who has been working with students over the last couple of days. It has been great to see everyone so engaged in the activities and so motivated by this activity. Please check back over the next few days as we add images and students recollections about the day.
At the NAIDOC workshop, We danced and danced and didn’t stop, Until it was time to go Our dancing was as smooth as a water flow. At the NAIDOC workshop we learnt how to dance Like animals and hunters, we had no chance Against Matt the master, he was the best, Much better than all the rest. At the NAIDOC workshop we had lots of fun But eventually we were finally done We went back to class to write a poem And on Monday a dance is what we’ll show’em. By Suelaman (Grade 6)
