Sorry my post is a bit later today. I didn't seem to be able to move away from the heater this morning! What is going on with the weather? We went for a walk this morning and I couldn't wait to get back home and back into the warm house. Really though I quite like the colder weather and the excuse to lie in front of the heater all day. What are your favourite seasons? Do you prefer the warmer, wetter, drier or colder weather? What season do you look forward to each year? What are the things you look forward to that only happen in one particular season during the year?

This is our friend Panda. He has been nagging us to be on the blog page. Panda loves going for walks and loves sitting on Douglas, Trish or Ellie whether they want him to or not. He loves food - he doesn't have any favourites - he just likes eating! Have you done any cooking while you have been at home? What foods are your favourites? I'm sure Panda would be interested to know.
I was thinking today about how everyone's pets might be coping with the house being full all of the time. These are our Guinea Pigs. One is hiding in his house but you can see the other one eating grass on the right of the photo. We keep a part of the grass in our back yard "un-mowed" so that they can eat the grass. At night if it is too cold we bring them inside. I must admit I have got used to having everybody at home and it will be hard when we can be outside again and everybody is out during the day at work and school. How are your pets doing?
Hi all - not sure why it has appeared there but please see further down the page for today's post about a cat...
Bruno & Douglas I had a busy weekend spending time with my family who were playing board games. We had not played Cluedo for a very long time so that was fun to re-learn all of the rules. What sort of indoor games have you been learning and re-learning? Douglas and Ellie re-connected our Wii and have been playing quizzes and MarioKart.
Thanks to you all for writing to me on Friday. It was great to hear that Hannah, Amelia, Laura & Jo had been getting exercise by activities such as walking, karate, cycling, frisbeeing, doing Cameron's PE lessons and dancing. I did like the idea of your dogs doing yoga Astrid! Maybe I could have a go at that! Paige you asked if I had a nice Friday - I think so, I don't remember much of it. I think it after our walk it involved more sleeping. Have a lovely week everyone! I am going to put up a blog post at least every second day (more if I can) but keep sending me messages as I love reading them and commenting, as well as seeing you talking to each other! I hope everyone had a nice Tuesday. I think i did my usual jobs of sleeping and going for walks! I forgot to mention the other day that Douglas was cooking sausage rolls on Sunday afternoon and they were very tasty - did any of you do anything different or special over the last few days?
I saw one of our neighbors today when we were on our morning walk (see photo). He lives next door and his name is Boof. He usually comes during the day to visit us in the backyard. I then started wondering how you all are keeping in touch with your human friends and relatives that don't live with you and you can't get out to visit in person? Hi everyone, this morning I went for a very early morning walk with my friends Douglas and Panda. It was a little bit chilly but it was very nice walking while the sun was coming up. Panda walks a bit faster as he is younger than me and I have to stop to catch my breath and have a few rests every now and then. What are you all doing to keep active seeing as we can only go out of the house for a short exercise each day and lots of our normal sports and hobbies have been postponed? Thankyou again to everyone that posted on my blog yesterday. I love reading your comments! What a lovely day I had today reading all of your comments on my first post from yesterday. Thanks to Leo, Amelia, Hannah, Jemma, Talia, Astrid and Trish for leaving such nice comments and letting me know you are looking forward to reading my blog!
Today I got up late (see photo), went for a walk around the block, went back to bed, got up and walked around the house a bit, went back to sleep, got up and ate and soon I will be going back to bed. What did I learn today? I learned that I have a very comfortable bed. Hi everyone! I am very excited about learning from home this term! I have my computer all set up ready to go and I will let you know every week how I am going with my home learning. I would very much like to hear from you about how your remote learning is going too! You can leave me a message in the comments box below!
