The holidays are here again and we'll be spending the next few days thinking about what we might do over the next two weeks while there is no school. Catch up on some sleep is a big priority for a few in our household. We also plan on spending time walking for our exercise each day and catching up with some friends and relatives on zoom. Maybe we will also treat ourselves with some food deliveries as well! What sorts of things have you got planned for the holidays? What are you looking forward to?
Take care and have a restful break and we will see you all again from Monday October 5th! A reminder that remote learning continues for all students at school in the first week of next term and we are expecting to see our F-2 students back on site from Week 2 (October 12th).

What beautiful spring weather we have had over the last week. Our guinea pigs are out in the sunshine most days and they are often visited by next door's cat! Hopefully this is what the weather will be like in the school holidays next week! What do you enjoy about the weather changing and getting warmer?
Don't forget to check in with your teacher this morning to see what they have planned for you before putting your device away for the day! Here's what Bruno has planned...
Who doesn't like curling up in a cubby? Bruno went missing for a little while the other day and we found him curled up snugly in a pile of clothes in the laundry, Unfortunately for Bruno it was about to go into the washing machine and he had to find a spot somewhere else! What is the best cubby you have ever built? Was it inside or outside? Do you have any other spots in your house where you like to curl up and have a snooze or read a book?
Do you know it is 7 years this week since we adopted Bruno from the RSPCA? He was 9 when he came to live with us and is about 16 years old now. Do you have any pets at your house? How long have they lived with you? Have they ever lived with a different family? Maybe we can put up a gallery of pets on this page if you send a photo to the school email account ([email protected]).
What a lot of amazingly windy weather we have had over the last week. Did you hear the wind at your place last week and over the weekend? When we have been on our walks over the last few days we have seen lots of trees that have been blown over or have lost branches. At our house on the very windy night last week it sounded like the roof was going to blow off! Luckily it didn't and we were amazed that we didn't have any of our trees lose branches or blow over. What about at your place?
