The smell of baking ANZAC biscuits filled the corridors of Pender's Grove on Thursday as classrooms participated in special activities to remember ANZAC Day and the many people that have been and continue to be affected by war and conflict.

Alan will start with us from the start of Term Two. Alan comes to Pender's Grove with experience teaching in a number of schools across Melbourne including Carlton North P.S. and the Royal Children's Hospital School. We welcome Alan to our Pender's Grove community. ![]() Dubravka Zahtila has been provisionally appointed as the new teacher of Grade 2/3D from the start of Term Two. Dubravka has been teaching at Cairnlea Park PS (Deer Park) in the western suburbs of Melbourne for the last three years in Grades 2 and 3/4. We welcome Dubravka to our Pender's Grove community! Thanks to both of them for their hard work and commitment to Pender's Grove during Term One. Thanks too to Jeff for his work at Pender's Grove over many years and we wish him well in his new challenge as Assistant Principal at Rosanna Primary School. News regarding new teachers for both 23D and 34J will be posted here as soon as possible so keep checking back for updates! Who would believe that we are at the end of the term already. A reminder to parents and carers that school finishes at 2:30pm. An end of term assembly will be held at 2:10pm and all are welcome to attend.
