Optimus Template

The program consists of teachers effectively operating their individual mathematics program, utilizing appropriate resources, for four to five hours per week. The areas covered are based on the following dimensions as identified in the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) maths domain: number, space, measurement, chance and data, working mathematically and structure.

Teachers reflect on their practice and continue on-going professional develop to enhance a level of skill in catering for all students in the school.

The VELS document provides the basis upon which assessment of student progress is based.
