On Thursday, the Early Years classes were treated to an engaging road safety presentation by the RACV. The incursion was part of our investigation into communities and how we interact, and it taught us many things about keeping ourselves safe on the roads. We learned that helmets are not just for bike riders, but for skateboarders, roller-bladers and scooter-riders too! Liz and Anne from the RACV also taught us how to cross the road safely, and about some of the most important safety equipment we can use – our EYES and EARS. The classes will all be doing further investigations into road safety and will be meeting more people from our community in the coming weeks.
