Hello lovely F1S students and families!
This is our new page that we will use for our daily learning. Please remember that the other webpage is always there if you'd like to do something extra at any time. I particularly suggest playing the Speaking and Listening games regularly to support your child's oral language development as oral language is the foundation of all literacy learning.
On this page I will post an overview of the day and video lessons for you to watch each day. Sometimes there may also be links to click or files to download. Each lesson will include an independent task to be completed. Feel free to send me photos or videos of your learning - I've loved seeing all the wonderful work you've done so far! I will also always include a suggestion for play-based learning as this is one of the most important aspects of learning in the early years. Make sure you also look at the Specialist pages for your weekly Music, Art, Italian and Physical Education lessons.
I'll see everyone this week for a Webex catch-up - I'm looking forward to it! If you haven't yet emailed me a time to meet or provided an email address I can reach you on please do so as soon as possible.
Please make sure to email me every day to tell me that you have engaged in the day's learning. You could send me a photo, video, message or just a quick "present." I am required by the Department of Education to track attendance and attendance data will still be collected during remote learning.
