Happy Friday F1S students & families,
Today is our last day of remote learning! You kiddies have done an absolutely amazing job and I am so proud of you. And thank you so much to all of the amazing F1S families for all your support over this tricky period. Enjoy your last day of remote learning and I will see you in the classroom on Tuesday 26/5. Monday 25/5 is a Curriculum Day and so I won't be posting any work for you. Use the day to relax and get ready for school on Tuesday.
Some things will be different when we go back to school but we will make sure that we spend lots of time time learning our new routines and getting back into old ones. If you have any questions or worries about anything at all, please email me. Below you will find a story about going back to school that I would really like everyone to read. This is called a Social Story which is a tool for navigating new situations and helping children prepare for transition. Feel free to take today very, very easy and not worry too much about the day's learning, but please do read this book together. Students may then like to talk and draw about what they are looking forward to doing at school.
I am required by the Department of Education to track attendance. Please make sure to contact me via email or the contact form at the bottom of the F1S Main page to let me know that you are engaged in today's learning by 3pm. You could send a message, photo, video or “present”.
