Welcome to the 3/4N Main Page
Below are additional resources for reading, writing and maths.
As mentioned above you need to visit our daily page for specific daily tasks / lessons.
Reading
Each day you will receive one reading lesson within our daily slides. Completing the lesson in your slides should be your first priority.
Reading at home is a lot like reading in the classroom. During independent reading, you can record interesting vocabulary or questions you have. You can track your reading by keeping a diary of your reading each day, including the pages read and your time spent reading.
After reading you can complete a response that relates to the text you read. The responses will focus around your comprehension skills that we have been developing during Semester 1, such as predicting, making-connections text-to text, text-to-self, text-to-world, questioning, visualising and summarising.
This term we will continue to focus on building word vocabulary, synthesising, skimming and scanning. We will also continue to build on our skill of asking and answering literal and inferential questions.
